The Hoover Historical Society offers an educational scholarship for $1,000 paid to an accredited two-or four-year college or university for tuition or other expenses. Deadline for application submissions is March 23, 2017.

Each year our Society awards a $1,000 scholarship to a graduating senior at both of Hoover’s high schools. The scholarship honors HHS founder, Vadie Honea. Funding this year came from Carlo and Dianne Joseph and Henry King of King Acura in Hoover.
